To see the light, to fully be changed,
not knowing our bodies look any different;
to come from God’s presence, our life rearranged
into something that should be magnificent.
But, in the change we find ourselves startled
by what has happened and what could take place,
when our control of our life has been throttled,
and we have to live completely by grace.
We are changed, whether we know it or not,
when we stand before the truth and light,
and our previous life is tied in a knot
and the veil of the world hinders our sight.
As a reminder we veil our head
knowing what the world should look like instead.
